Twitter is rolling out its new ‘Twitter Not Pictures” feature on its mobile app, but it won’t be available for all users.
While it’s available to all users in iOS and Android, only iOS 11 users will be able to access the feature.
Twitter has yet to respond to a request for comment on the issue.
The feature, which is rolling-out to iOS 11 devices, lets users keep their entire Twitter history on their phone, so they can quickly access images or videos that aren’t currently available on their mobile device.
The change comes just a few days after Twitter announced that it would stop allowing users to post photos and videos on Twitter.
While the change is not new, the move is being hailed as a major milestone in the company’s efforts to build a social media product that is both easy to use and safe for users.
The company has also made significant progress in the past year, announcing the launch of its new messaging app, Messenger, as well as the launch and ongoing development of the new video-sharing app, Vine.
