Laval, Quebec, February 14, 2019 – The Los Angeles Kings have acquired defenceman Marc-André Clichet from the Montreal Canadiens for a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft.
Cliches four-year entry-level contract is worth $1.8 million.
Criches salary this season is $3.25 million.
The 22-year-old Clicheres father and former Laval Olympian played four seasons with the Canadiens and was a member of the 2013 Memorial Cup team that was selected to the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The team went on to defeat the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Final, before losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Western Conference Quarterfinals.
Ciches career totals: 60 goals, 45 assists, 57 penalty minutes, 68 games played.
He is also a member the 2015 Memorial Cup champion.
